Websites

Generally, you can use our websites without providing any personal data. However, you may need to provide your data to use to use certain functions of our website. Therefore, if you do not provide your data, this may restrict your use of our website.
When you visit our websites, our web server temporarily saves a log file on every access. In addition, we use your personal data if you have provided it to us to register for our website and have consented to processing of your personal data. Furthermore, we collect, save, and process your personal data if you contact us via the contact form or by sending an e-mail, if this is necessary to process your inquiry and correspondence. The personal data we collect is deleted promptly once we no longer need it for this purpose, unless statutory retention periods apply. Providing your personal data is voluntary.

Transmission of data

We use your personal data within the company Wilhelm Ewe GmbH & Co. KG. Our external service providers who process data on our behalf are contractually obligated in the sense of Art. 28 GDPR to handle your personal data in accordance with applicable regulations. If these companies access your personal data, we have taken legal, technical, and organizational measures and carry out regular controls to ensure that they comply with the regulations of data privacy law.

Social Plug-ins

Our websites use social plug-ins from various social network providers. When you access one of our websites that contains such a plug-in, the content of the plug-in is transmitted directly to your browser. We offer you the option of interacting directly with our posts via the comment function using social plug-ins.

If you click a social media plug-in, you will be sent directly to the relevant social network on our website and your data will be transmitted to the server of the social network provider. This data includes, for instance, your IP address, the date and time of access, detection data on the browser and operating system used, and the website from which you access our page.

We would like to note that we have no influence over the scope of data processing carried out by the providers of these social networks. Please see the provider's data privacy guidelines to determine the purpose, type, and scope of data collection and how data is processed and used.

The following social plug-ins are available on our website:

YouTube

YouTube plug-ins on our websites are operated by YouTube, LLC., 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066 USA. YouTube plug-ins are identified by the YouTube logo. If you use one of these plug-ins, your browser makes direct contact with YouTube and your information is transmitted directly to a YouTube server. If you are also logged into YouTube when you visit our website, YouTube can directly associate your visit to your account. If you submit a comment or press the YouTube button, this information is also transmitted to a YouTube server and saved by it in the USA. In addition, your YouTube interaction is published directly on YouTube and may be visible to third parties. If you are not interested in this kind of interaction, you are responsible for logging out of YouTube before visiting our website and using a “script blocker” to prevent the YouTube plug-in from loading on our site. Please see the YouTube data privacy guidelines www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ to determine the purpose and scope of data collection and how data is processed and used.

Google Maps

We use Google Maps API, a service of Google Inc. to visually display geographic information. The information generated by Google Maps API is generally sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google can transmit information generated through the use of Google Maps to third parties if third parties process this data on behalf of Google or if this is legally permissible or required. The IP address communicated by your browser while you use Google Maps will not be merged with other data by Google. However, it is technically possible for Google to process the data received for other purposes or to identify individual users without Wilhelm Ewe GmbH & Co. KG having any influence over this process. Because of this, using Google Maps is problematic from a data privacy law standpoint.

However, you can prevent data from being transmitted to Google by deactivating the Google Maps service by deactivating the JavaScript function in your browser. However, if you do so you will not be able to display maps.

If you use our website and have the JavaScript function active, you expressly declare your consent to have your collected data processed by Google Inc. in the manner described above and for the purposes indicated, and declare that you are aware of the data privacy law issues related to such processing.

Company: GOOGLE INC.,1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA
