Working at EWE-Armaturen

Whether they work in development, sales, production, service, or administration: our employees work constructively together across departments.

We are a modern mid-sized company headquartered in the Lower Saxon city of Braunschweig, now led by the third generation of the same family. We focus on building fair, open and respectful relationships with our customers, suppliers, and employees.
You might have heard from your relatives, friends, or acquaintances what it’s like to work for us ...
We see ourselves as one big family. Our work is based on mutual appreciation and understanding, short decision-making pathways, and the willingness to help out wherever we’re needed.
We also value a good work/life balance, which is why we offer a variety of flexible work time models. If your field of work allows, you can also work from a home office. A smooth transition to retirement with reduced work hours is another great option.
Our motto “thoroughly tried and tested!” is more than just a saying. Maintaining and continuously improving the quality we offer is one of our highest concerns. We provide qualification and continued training to ensure our employees’ knowledge is excellent and up to date.

Of course, we also offer

  • Company pension plans
  • Profit sharing
  • Sponsored recreational activities
  • Health promotion and prevention
  • Employee sponsoring
  • Affordable food for personnel available to order
  • Employee events (summer festival, Christmas party)
    and much more!

Benefits and events like these create a great climate at our company.

Weihnachtsmarkt

Braunschweig is the largest city between Hanover and Berlin. The city combines the diverse offerings of a large urban area with a long history and the unique charm of a lively city centre and green recreational oases.

First recorded in the year 1031, Braunschweig's development since the 12th century was marked by the strong influences of the house of Welf and the Hanseatic League. Today, the city is the largest between Hanover and Berlin with roughly 250,000 residents. Braunschweig, known as the “City of lions”, offers a varied cultural life with renowned museums, outstanding theatre and concerts, art exhibitions, and major sporting events. With a broad range of attractive businesses and a diverse restaurant scene, Braunschweig is also a popular shopping destination in the region.

One unique highlight of the annual event calendar is the Braunschweig Christmas market, which is famous well beyond the region. Every year, the squares around St. Blasi Cathedral and Dankwarderode Castle transform into Braunschweig’s festive Christmas market. 150 artisans and shops open lovingly decorated huts and stands in impressive historical surroundings.

Flexible working hours

Our Works Agreement on flexible work time allows you to design your own schedule, a benefit to both our employees and the company as a whole.

Attractive compensation

In addition to negotiated standard salaries, we offer our employees social benefits under the Lower Saxony wholesale and export trade wage agreement. It provides vacation and Christmas pay, 30 days of vacation, capital forming benefits, and an employer-financed contribution to employee pension plans. In addition, we offer a bonus system based on employee assessments.

Work - life balance

Our employees’ well-being is important to us. That’s why we support our employees in many different areas, for instance through health management and employee sponsorship.
